An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join us on a contract basis in Buckinghamshire. As Project Manager you will have a strong background of managing large and complex projects relating to IT and business within a public sector setting.

What to Bring

• Proven track record of end to end project management of large, complex projects on behalf of public sector customers in an IT infrastructure or application environment
• Previous full life-cycle IT projects experience within the public sector
• Solid experience in Change Management and Business Process Mapping
• Strong background of gathering requirements, understanding, planning and delivering the detailed business requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with users and stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to manage stakeholders and internal staff through large scale business change
• PRINCE2 certification or equivalent, prior Agile experience beneficial

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver work plans relating to assigned IT projects
• Benchmark against competitors for levels of excellence
• Support the business throughout all stages of the business change, from defining requirements to design, development and change
• Provide support of business change to impacted business communities
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and organisational changes
• Manage day to day key project deliverables
• Manage risk and issues
• Provide performance reporting
• Use appropriate project methodology
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored
