An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Analyst to join us on a permanent or contract basis in Aberdeen. As Security Analyst you support Digital and Information Security across the IT environment.

What to bring

  • IT Security Degree, CISSP or similar (CRISC, CISA, CISM)
  • Solid experience of Risk Management
  • Strong understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, Vulnerability Scanning and IDS/IPS concepts, emails and web gateway
  • Experience of penetration testing and techniques
  • Experience of Information Security Risk assessments
  • Experience of Audit, compliance and assurance
  • Experience of Qualys (Vulnerability Management), Splunk
  • Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Solid organisational skills, including prioritisation, multitasking and time-management
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholder groups
  • Experience in a complex and fast- moving environment
  • Flexible and autonomous approach to work
