About the Role

Based in Brussels office 1/2 days per week (situation allowing), we are looking for an Agile Product Owner with creative, entrepreneurial and analytical thinking based onsite with our partner Connected Technologies. You will be responsible for helping to team build and deliver mobility and connected applications to our customers. Your work will impact the entire technology and product organisation and you will collaborate across the organisation. 

What You will Do

  • Executing product strategy, taking input from product leadership, sales, technology and turning requests from varied stakeholders into a logical and actionable product backlog with clearly written user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Defining product vision
  • Maximise Product value in small cycles and iterate. 
  • Defining product requirements documents and business cases
  • Onsite at Connected Technologies you will be working closely with us (Toyota Connected Europe) to build mobility and connected services 
  • Driving the product development process by working closely with software engineering, designers, and leadership team, ensuring product enhancements are delivered on time and as specified.
  • Organising and participating in regular backlog refinement sessions and solution definition workshops
  • Drawing up technical and product documentation
  • Collaborating with engineering to ensure that delivered features meet quality standards
  • Product and feature experimentation 
  • Manage the product life cycle from inception to launch for a portfolio of products
  • Understand and articulate customer needs, partner with UX to conduct customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize requirements
  • Be a passionate advocate for our internal customers
  • Establishing goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
  • Research and identify new opportunities for us to innovate on behalf of our customers
  • You will partner with IT & Business leaders to drive strategic initiatives and solutions.

 About you:

 

  •  7+ years of product management, product marketing, business development, or strategic partnership experience in a technology company, demonstrating experience with product build lifecycle and go-to-market strategy development and execution
  • Track record as a team player and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Owner mentality, strong entrepreneurial drive and bias for action, proven ability to influence cross-functional peers, stakeholders, and executives
  • Time-served Agile product management experience in SAFe, Scrum or Kanban
  • Extensive experience of triaging business needs and converting them into clear, coherent requirements using user/job stories, behaviour-driven design acceptance criteria and any other supporting documentation
  • Experienced in experimentation at scale (Optimizely)
  • A strong grasp of user-centred product design principles and UX/UI design methods
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience dealing with remote stakeholders and colleagues
  • Superior analytical skills, including self-serving data from customer usage metrics, and manipulating it towards valuable insights
  • Proven experience taking a product from initial stages to launch
