Web Designer - Freelance - Work from Home

As part of our continued growth we are hiring a Web Designer to create and updated incredible conversion led digital content.


This new role is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre designer to work with our Digital teams and continue to grow and evolve the organisation.


This is a truly exciting role for a business with big growth plans. We’re looking for someone with a sparkle, whose results driven, not afraid to roll their sleeves up and has a great sense of humour. You’ll be keen to make a difference in a successful SME, going from strength to strength as we look to grow beyond £100m in revenues.

Key Activities:

  • Working from detailed briefs using the created user flows and wireframes as start points for your designs.
  • Ability to solve design problems both creatively and using well established methods.
  • To be comfortable communicating ideas to senior team members.
  • Help solve complex design problems in simple and intuitive ways.
  • Keep abreast of latest practices, techniques and emerging technologies within the industry and employ these to develop ideas and inspire creative concepts.

  • 3+ years of design experience or similar role. A strong portfolio of successful digital projects is required.
  • Knowledge of best practices for mobile and web-based design, usability principles and techniques, as well as experience with mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Experience in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision or similar.
  • A good understanding of user-centred design.
  • Experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related roles.
  • An online portfolio or other samples of work demonstrating relevant experience.
  • The ability to work in a creative, iterative environment.
  • Demonstrated empathy for the people using your designs.
