We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 4 months role with NHS Digital, working from home initially, but ideally based near Leeds or London

 

NHS Pathways is a clinical decision support system and range of other product used for assessing, triaging and directing contact from the public to urgent and emergency care services such as 999, GP out-of-hours and NHS 111. It enables patients to be triaged effectively and ensures that they are directed to the most appropriate service available at the time of contact. The NHS Pathways team requires a Senior Business Analyst to support the consolidation of existing NHS Pathways process documents and provide full detailed documentation of other change processes to enhance and retain corporate memory and accelerate the onboarding of new staff. As Senior Business Analyst, you will: 

 

  • Join the Team that manages NHS111 and 999 software.
  • Work on Directory of Service (DOS) as well BAU work.
  • Support the consolidation of existing NHS Pathways process documents and full detailed documentation of other change processes to enhance and retain corporate memory and accelerate the onboarding of new staff.
  • Document processes where process documents do not already exist
  • Suggest & enact process enhancements and update process documents to reflect changing processes 

 

You will: 

  • Be an Agile Business Analyst, educated to master’s level (or equivalent qualification / experience)
  • Have experience in the NHS or wider public sector, ideally
  • Be self-motivated, and able to work remotely
  • Be able to use office software packages to an intermediate or higher level. In particular MS Word, Project, Visio and Excel.
  • Have demonstrable evidence of being able to produce detailed designs and documents using required standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate.
  • Have experience of process analysis, assessment and change including financial, cultural, technological, organisational and environmental factors. Further experience of establishing customer requirements and identifying how these map to process requirements.
  • Have experience of assessing, analysing, developing, documenting and implementing changes based on requests for change.
  • Have expertise with the application of Business Analysis techniques, methods and tools; experience of the implementation of Business Analysis techniques, methods and tools as well as the enhancement of their application
