We're after a Senior Product Owner to join our team of developers and UX experts to support our clients business to build world class digital products. You would be joining a maturing product culture within the organisation and play a key role in accelerating their growth. In this role you'll have the opportunity to build and ship industry leading products that will deliver real benefit to your users. You'll be responsible for shaping the product strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities for the business and drive these through to benefit realisation. You'll lead the vision and collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, Design and Business teams to shape and deliver best in class products and innovation.
You must have a proven background working as a Product Owner in a fast paced technology centric business, ideally with a consumer focus. You will have experience defining product strategy and product vision. You will be comfortable in a leadership role and must have proven experience leading a multidisciplinary product team at scale and be comfortable managing conflict and using data to underpin your decision making process. Experience establishing, embedding and maturing OKRs into a team would also be beneficial. You must have outstanding communication and presentation skills and be comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders.
As a Product Owner you need a deep understanding of Agile Scrum frameworks and be a strong communicator with experience of running workshops and communicating directly with clients. You will create and maintain a product roadmap and will be responsible for communication with all stakeholders (business heads, marketing, developers, and senior management) to ensure that all products continue to perform at the highest possible level and serve the needs of the companies many customer groups.
What You'll Do
Convert strategic goals and high-level business requirements into a product backlog of user stories
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog and track release plans
Lead effective Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews
Participate fully in Scrum events; daily team scrums, planning, reviews and retrospectives
Support the development team with any questions they may have
Work with development teams to represent the customer/end-user
Articulate and uphold the product vision
Working with users to ensure all enhancements meet business and client requirements
Define, implement and analyse product KPIs and OKRs for all product enhancements
Create and maintain a product dashboard
Create and deliver proposals and product plans to senior management and senior stakeholders
Collaborate with the business to create and maintain a product roadmap(s)
Provide product marketing/new business with insights on key differentiators and messages
Provide regular product demos/show & tells/webinars on product functionality to internal/external audiences
Create product documentation and supporting materials for product marketing and new business teams
Evangelise the product amongst customers and end-users
Facilitate client workshops and requirement gathering sessions
Proven experience delivering compelling consumer facing products across many platforms within an Agile environment.
Solid Experience in Product Owner role (5+ years)
Working knowledge of the SDLC and experience coordinating delivery involving external and internal development teams

Solid understanding of software development processes and procedures
Solid understanding of continuous delivery & integration, iterative development, incremental delivery and the value of metrics
Solid technical background required. Good understanding of continuous delivery, support best practices, technical debt, software architecture, scaling, DevOps, etc.
Experience growing and facilitating highly motivated and capable teams to deliver innovative software products.
Mentoring skills that demonstrate the agile values and principles in every thought and action.
