The Role

We are looking for an experienced proficient Agile Business Analyst to join our network of independent consultants. Initially, you will be working directly with one of our prestigious Central Government clients by helping them to deliver key business and technology improvements.

The Agile Business Analyst with experience working within Agile teams to develop business analysis products including user journeys, value streams, detailed process maps / operating procedures, well defined User Stories and acceptance criteria, in order to deliver a more efficient, user-focused service.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience working as an Agile Business Analyst, ideally within a Central Government/ Public Sector environment;
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years-experience working within an Agile environment;
  • You should have experience of the Government Digital Services, both standards and principals;
  • Proven experience of decomposing and simplifying complex large-scale business and technology problems;
  • Excellent experience of working with Senior Stakeholders across an organisation with the ability to influence, negotiate and manage expectations on deliverables;
  • You will be highly proficient in working with User Stories, Epics and be comfortable delivering in accordance with Agile best-practice standards;
  • You will have excellent data analysis and modelling skills being able to illustrate, accurately, complex landscapes;
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be able to articulate complex information in the most appropriate way based on your audience;

Additional Qualities

  • Ideally you will have experience working within an established management consultancy firm, preferable 5 years;
  • You will take pride in your work, enjoy your role and promote a confident inclusive manner;
  • You will be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team of other professionals;
  • You will be comfortable working directly with external suppliers;
  • You will have a transparent and collaborative attitude and be flexible in your ways of working and outlook;
  • You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and be able to adapt your approach to suit the needs of the team;
  • You will be happy working with more junior members of the team, coaching and tutoring them;
  • You will adopt a no-blame attitude and enjoy taking responsibility;
