Modern Workplace Team Lead - Contractor

About the Role

We are looking for a Modern Workplace Team Lead on a contract basis for 6 months, to deliver solutions and services for our customers that are focused on Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies.

As the Modern Workplace Lead, you will provide the technical leadership and Subject Matter Expertise for Microsoft 365, Endpoint Management and Security, Unified Communications, and other related cloud, on-premise or hybrid technologies. As well as playing a key role in daily operations, you will drive the continuous development of the Modern Workplace Team’s solutions and services.

Your main duties will include:

  • Develop new Modern Workplace service offerings by:

o Monitoring the Microsoft Modern Workplace roadmap

o Working with customer and other teams within Piksel Group to understand challenges that need addressing

o Applying modern and innovative practices and technologies

  • Presales and delivery activities of the Modern Workplace service offerings
  • Day to day management of the Modern Workplace Team
  • Planning and implementation of new Modern Workplace technology sets for Piksel Group internal IT

About You

You will ideally have broad technical experience of on-premise end-user compute technologies (e.g. AD, Group Policy, RDS/Citrix, SCCM), Microsoft 365 (e.g. Office 365, Intune, Teams, Power Apps), and Azure (e.g. AAD, Security, Storage), along with great customer facing skills. You will have a passion for technology, be self-motivated, and willing to take on new challenges and technologies.
