ECS have a number of opportunities for Cloud security Consultants to join our team.

Typical duties of the role will include:

  • Designing solutions to secure public cloud environments across a range of public and private cloud providers within coplex enterprise environments.
  • Leading reviews around application architecture and application data flows
  • Leading Risk Assessment exercises in order to articulate security risks to various business stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Develop cloud security solutions to support wider cloud adoption strategies
  • Design and build security architecture across a range of public, hybrid and private cloud providers, especially within AWS.
  • Provide training, workshops and best practice to a range of stakeholders to ensure security best practice is maintained.
  • Working closely with client side CISOs and related business stakeholders to create standards and ensure the correct security solutions are implemented.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A broad set of security skills/related specifically to Cloud based environments eg AWS cloud, APIs, Big Data,
  • CISSP/CCSP or equivalent qualification
  • Current knowledge of Cyber and Information Security trends in the market
  • Demonstrable experience or working in complex Enterprise organisations
  • Experience of working in highly regulated industries such as Banking, Utilities, Insurance etc.
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Security assurance and risk management methodologies
  • A history of working in consulting, being able to work with a variety of stakeholders to define solutions to a wide range of security issues.
