  • The Position*

We are looking for a part-time freelance Full Stack developer that can join our in-house creative team at the Sunny Art Centre. You will be responsible to work with our main web developer to improve and maintain our e-commerce website using the existing architecture. You will also be responsible for implementing new designs, taking care of both the front and back ends.

You will be maintaining the existing plug-ins and incorporate new ones to improve upon the exiting functions offered by the website. Your minimalist coding will ensure that you will keep the website tidy from bugs and errors. You will also ensure that the website, its plug-ins, and the infrastructure are always up to date. This includes analytical tools, ads and marketing integrations, databases, servers and APIs.

  • What Are Your Strengths?*
  • Deep knowledge of Wordpress with ACF and custom post types
  • Deep knowledge of HTML and CSS for frontend
  • Deep knowledge of plugin and template development within the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Deep knowledge of PHP - Procedural and OOP
  • Deep knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, AJAX
  • Deep knowledge of API working mechanisms (mainly in PHP and jQuery)
  • Knowledge of SQL and phpMyAdmin
  • Linux Ubuntu server administration
  • Knowledge of SVGs and XML
  • Marketing integration

  • Responsiveness across devices is key in your effort to establish a user-friendly interface that meets the customer 's requirements on different devices.
  • You enjoy keeping up with the latest web standards and cutting-edge research about innovative web solutions.

Hours are 2 days a week between 10am-6pm on a freelance (with a lunch hour between 12-13pm), on a freelance contract basis. The position is strictly in-house.
