Paysafe is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst who can hit the ground running, someone that is highly motivated, flexible and experienced in the area of Payments with a focus of business and technology change. The role requires a person comfortable working within a complex stakeholder environment, engaging with different areas of the business ranging from product, technology, infrastructure, operations, finance, etc. The Senior Business Analyst will need to have a strong stakeholder engagement and management background along with experience developing detailed business requirements that spans company-wide change in the area of payments.

This role will be required to drive the requirements gathering process with internal and external stakeholders. The Senior business analyst will be responsible for the development of process flows and data mapping, as such this role will require experience in the areas of card schemes, payment processing, transaction flows and integration with 3rd party acquirers and processors.

This role is a key component in a group wide programme which will touch all areas of the Paysafe business. Due to the size and complexity of this progamme, this role would suit someone highly adept internal and external stakeholder engagement, whilst having the ability to remain in the detail to drive the requirements process.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

    • Experience developing detailed requires for large scale company-wide programmes with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Working closely with Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers and key stakeholders to define programme requirements in terms of features and capabilities
    • Act as an interface between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business use cases into technical requirements as needed
    • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to capture, analyse and document technical and operational requirements
    • Capture requirements across a range of technical and non-technical area, taking end to end ownership of the requirements process including running workshops, creating use cases, refining, communicating and obtaining signoff for requirements, ensuring traceability and measurability
    • Support with business cases and benefits analysis
    • Analyse and assess requirements to identify impacts on internal and external customers
    • Liaise with business change teams to ensure that the relevant training, comms, and processes are created to reflect project requirements

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a group wide Senior business analysis role.
  • A background and experience in the payments industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate confidently and effectively with a range of audiences
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to gain consensus and buy-in from stakeholders with competing requirements and priorities
  • Ability to work independently across virtual teams and on multiple concurrent projects
  • Adept at cutting through complexity, working collaboratively across multiple teams to devise solutions
  • Good analytical skills, coupled with a logical, disciplined and structured approach to documentation and procedures
  • Flexible and adaptive, willing to respond to changing priorities or requirements in an agile manner
  • Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints
  • Experience working with distributed teams across different locations and time zones in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
