We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to work as part of the Brand Marketing team. Your role will be to manage the creation and execution of engaging posts across our social media channels. This is a freelance role finishing at the end of 2020.

What You’ll be Doing:

Reporting into the Head of Social, your responsibilities include:

  • Creating a rich mix of high-performing content for all our social channels
  • Developing and delivering social media campaigns, including content ideation, writing copy, boosting strategies and creating performance reports
  • Supporting the development of campaign specific social media strategies
  • Solving customer problems with world-class community management
  • Working with our creative team to build relevant, social-first content to support our campaigns
  • Thinking big & identify new opportunities to establish Moonpig as the social leader in their space
  • Driving engagement and growing our audience
  • Monitoring and reporting on trends, industry developments and competitor activity
  • And last but not least… Making our social channels an engaging, respectful and fun place

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passionate about social media, naturally curious, always seeking out best practice examples and new ways of doing things
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a social media role
  • Previous experience managing social media campaigns for fast-paced B2C eCommerce brands
  • Using analytics tools and providing reports to show improved campaign and account performance
  • Creative mindset who is keen to seek out new opportunities to take every campaign to the next level
  • A deep understanding of the current social media landscape, how to use insight and gear algorithms to your advantage
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Excellent communication skills, confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and understanding business requirements
  • Ability to work & manage workload independently
  • Strong attention to detail
