Our growing company has offices in London, Barcelona, Montreal and New York and a team of smart, friendly and talented professionals. We work in partnership with our clients to build bespoke, elegant software solutions that transform the way in which they work.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a talented and highly motivated Programme Manager to join our growing team.

Context :

Adaptive is about to start a major project to develop a new retail trading platform for a client. The project will be a key part of a major transformation programme for the client.

We are now looking for an experienced programme manager to manage the commercial aspects of delivery and ensure seamless integration with the rest of the transformation programme.

As a project manager you will have to manage a team of around 25 peoples (UX, BA, Developers, QA and DevOps) on a day to day basis.

The primary focus of the role is to:

  • Facilitate delivery by the Adaptive team within the programme structure
  • Ensure the welfare of Adaptive team members (shared with Development Manager)
  • Protect Adaptive 's commercial interests
  • Provide leadership to the Adaptive team

Specific activities will include:

  • Ensuring that the agreed programme structure and processes are appropriate
  • Ensure that Adaptive retains sufficient control and/or influence over the activities that are consistent with delivery and meeting our commercial obligations
  • Ensure that Adaptive has representation in key programme forums (eg Steering board, technical design authority, change board etc)
  • Representing Adaptive in programme meetings, forums etc (with other team members as needed)
  • Ensuring that Adaptive meets its goals for the engagement (including delivery, revenue, client relationship)
  • Ensuring that Adaptive fulfill our commercial obligations
  • Ensuring that other parties meet their obligations insofar as they impact Adaptive
  • Build positive relationships with senior stakeholders in and other parties
  • Provide leadership to the Adaptive team
  • Manage escalated risks and issues, escalating further where appropriate
  • Report overall programme status to client and internally
