Are you a digital content expert?

Are you passionate about the power of health content and how it can engage and support people living with heart and circulatory conditions?

We are looking for a Digital Content Manager to join us and help us beat heartbreak forever.

About the role

You’ll join our talented Health Content team which is working hard to reach and support more people than ever due to Covid-19 and its consequences. You’ll play a key role in the British Heart Foundation reaching more people, in new ways, with greater impact and supporting and involving more people in their health and care.

You'll be working on projects such as our award-winning Heart Matters online magazine to build engaging content for our new cardiac rehab online product, turning SEO'd content around quickly in response to the latest news. You’ll also work with multidisciplinary teams to find ways to meet the needs of our users.

About you

With experience of search engine optimisation (SEO) and user-centred content design, you’ll have an understanding of SEO tools such as Google Analytics,  Hitwise, Moz, Linkdex and SEMrush as well as previous writing and/or editing experience in an editorial context.

You’ll have a flair for turning complex medical concepts and language into motivational, easy to navigate information, and a desire to help us engage and support people with heart and circulatory diseases. You’ll also have previous experience of online content production, including using a content management system.

With excellent organisational and prioritisation skills you’ll be experienced in managing projects, especially digital projects.

Please note this is a 3 month contract and is home-based, so you’ll be happy and comfortable meeting and working with a team virtually.

To be considered for this role you will:

• be able to interview at short notice with the hiring manager. Interviews will be held via MS Teams
