Contract Description

2nd line technical support engineer required to work as part of BlueKong Networks field engineering team working on a dedicated customer contract based in Lynchwood, Peterborough.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the 1st/2nd line escalation point onsite for customer related incidents and resolve these issues via the phone, email or at deskside.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues professionally to the agreed SLA 's on both hardware and software based systems.
  • Work effectively as part of a service support team.
  • Escalate issues to 3rd Line Analysts when required.
  • Ability to be proactive and look at the bigger picture

This role will be working with SCCM so knowledge of the following is required;

  • SCCM as a product
  • Packaging - deployment
  • Collections
  • WQL editing
  • Client remediation - installing / troubleshooting client health problems (main)
  • Management points
  • DPs
  • Tracking deployments and managing remediation - spreadsheets
  • SCCM reporting / Status reporting

Experience/understanding of the following technologies would be beneficial:

  • Windows 10 (must have)
  • Active Directory (must have)
  • Group Policy (must have)
  • SCOM
  • Symantec
  • Bitlocker
  • Servers, desktops, laptops (general troubleshooting)

Contract length: 3 months
