Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be a delivery focused and technically acute with front to back system in scope for a regulatory reporting programme. SFTR knowledge is necessary with a high focus on the regulatory reporting tool and integration with external Trade Repositories. This role will also require close interaction with stakeholders across the Front Office, Trade Support, Compliance, Client On-Boarding, Operations and IT. The job holder will be someone with good negotiating skills, good technical knowledge, demonstrates a sound approach to problem solving and can break down a complex issue into a clear, well-articulated summary that creates clarity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct In-depth gap analysis of the impacted processes and underlying systems to produce functional specifications
  • Data sourcing activities in relation to the above
  • Interact with various technology and architecture teams to detail functional changes and solution design
  • Engage with external vendors for inbound and outbound interface changes
  • ? Ability to facilitate workshops, work-stream meetings and effectively produce
  • required materials
  • ? Ability to progress analysis where industry uncertainty exists and work with
  • stakeholders to formulate delivery assumptions
  • ? Engage with various business areas for business process changes
  • ? Write and contribute to test cases and the testing phase as required
  • ? Proactive and ability to own end to end deliverables and work well within small team.
  • ? Liaise with and communicate progress to the project manager.
  • ? Interpretation of the regulatory requirements in order to articulate what needs to be done.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • ? Previous experience of Derivatives Reform - EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MiFID2/R or SFTR
  • ? Good understanding of SFTR
  • ? Competent in more than one asset class with a specific understanding of financing transactions
  • ? Extensive Investment Banking experience
  • ? Experience as a Technical, Business, Systems or Functional Analyst
  • ? Front Office experience is advantageous
  • ? Regulatory reporting change experience is highly desirable
  • ? Strong knowledge of financial markets and regulations with experience of trade flows / systems
  • ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ? Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
