Job Description:
Capco is looking for an experienced WPM Project Manager to assist us on what will initially be a 6-month long contract assignment. 

The individual will need to:

  • Coordinate internal meetings between different teams to ensure projects run to time and all actions/issues tracked and escalated – take actions/set sessions up – basically ensure the team operate with the appropriate governance
  • Work flexibly in an agile fashion to pick up actions from meetings to deliver items themselves (i.e. liaise with regulatory compliance on DTCS issues, work with different global teams to facilitate opinion/feedback/decisions)
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetPut packs together for internal Steerco and Working Group sessions
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation (although an IT team primarily will run this)
  • Assist with the maintenance of a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

 

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in project management – any work in a credit risk environment would be a bonus
  • Excellent internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus)
