The Role

We are looking for experienced Agile professional who has a deep practical and theoretical understanding of the methodology, in particular the Srcum and Kanban methods,. The candidate will be working with a number of clients within the UK Public Sector to help them adopt the methodology.

We require someone who can both develop and deliver audience specific training courses and act as an ongoing coach to existing teams. The candidate will be working with a number of different clients (all within the UK Public Sector) to help support them on their journeys of Agile adoption.

Skills and Experience

You will need to have a very strong background in both the theoretical and practical applications of the Agile methodology.

In addition you will;

  • Have significant experience of delivering group training, coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer and supporting teams, individuals and services to adopt agile values, behaviours, tools and technique;
  • Have significant experience working within the UK Public Sector;
  • Have significant experience and demonstratable knowledge of how Agile aligns with the GDS principals;
  • Have significant experience and examples of real world Scrum AND Kanban implementation;
  • Have significant real world agile delivery implementation experience;
  • Have experience of using tooling to realise benefits of Agile for the team;
  • Have experience of using metrics in real world delivery and improvements;
  • Experience of delivering in a way that can easily be taken into everyday practice and can be built upon after the course within a practice model of community learning;
  • Understand and has experience of the relationship between Scrum and Kanban and how to select and use appropriate methods to support and improve delivery;
  • Demonstrate relevant detailed Scrum AND Kanban methodology course content;
  • Demonstrate ability to provide high quality training materials;
  • Evidence of qualifications covering the following area (Agile Coaching, Agile delivery, Project Management and Coaching); And
  • Evidence of expertise in the evaluation of a team or individuals’ agile maturity and evidence of tailoring of approach.
