Business Readiness Lead/ Change Management Project manager
Duration: 6 month contract
To ensure that all Horizon changes and releases are understood, that users are prepared to adopt the new ways of working ,that business processes, working practices, systems and support structures across the business are adjusted in order to drive tangible and non-tangible business benefits.
·Identifying what changes in processes, procedures and practices are needed to achieve change and deliver the planned benefits.
·Planning and delivery of effective change management alongside other elements of the programme
·Ensuring that each business area is sufficiently prepared for the impact of the new ways of working and that there is sufficient support and resource available to operate in a â€˜business as usualâ€™ state
·Ensuring full adoption of the new ways of working and reinforcement to build future learning
·Ensuring that business stability is maintained during the transition and that the changes and new capabilities are effectively embedded and established
·Working with operational managers to embed changes within the business.
·Delivering change management activities to ensure ongoing stakeholder and user engagement.
Implementing approaches to ensure the delivery of business benefits from Horizon
·Documenting and embedding the approach to Business Readiness and Change management for use in further releases/projects
Activities will include :
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
·Extensive experience of managing change in a similar programme and / or organisations
·A solid understanding of how people can be supported through change and the change process
·Extensive knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
·Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with the team and key stakeholders
·Flexible approach to working, comfortable navigating through ambiguity and adjusting priorities to meet demanding deadlines and business needs
·Problem solving and root cause identification skills
·Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
·Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others
·Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phase of the project lifecycles
·Change management certification, eg Prosci
·Project Management certification
