About the role/project:
To develop and deliver consistent and effective communications strategies for key projects and activities compliant with Network Rail's corporate communication strategy. To manage a broad range of stakeholder communication activities including, media, public affairs, community relations, and internal audiences.
This role heads up the internal communications team and the team produces high-quality content to work across internal and external channels - video, digital and design as well as written copy. The postholder will line manage a communications manager and three communications executives, so as well as the standard skills and experience (below) they will require a strong track record in people management.
