Node.JS Developer - (SSO/PAM/IAM/IDAM/OIDC)

 

Contract Type: Permanent or 3-6+ month contract (outside of IR35)

Location: Birmingham / Coventry / East Midlands (with some remote)

Responsibilities:

We are working on a new project and we are looking for a skilled node.js developer who has experience developing and implementing identity access management (IAM) platforms. The Sr. Developer will work as part of a team, leveraging their knowledge and expertise to create user-focused solutions and forward-thinking software design. In this role, you will:

 

  • Apply modern development standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, security standards, usability design standards, as appropriate.
  • Ability to analyse client applications and identity practices to identify appropriate solutions
  • Author functional requirements and technical design documentation to deliver IAM solutions

 

Requirements:

Essential skills and experience:

  • Good knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and concepts based on OpenID Connect (OIDC) & OAuth2
  • Strong front end development experience including the use of node.js (javascript)
  • Knowledge of SAML V1 and V2
  • Experience or knowledge of ID Management Policy, Governance and tools, such as Oath 2.0 & OIDC, SAML, XML is beneficial
  • Experience in the design, managing and deployment of IAM solutions, including governance, provisioning and authentication around OpenID Connect from a hands-on engineering perspective ideally in complex environments of plus one million identities is beneficial

 

Bonus Skills:

 

    • Experience in designing / building citizen facing services following the Digital by Default Service Standard (DbDSS) or general public sector type projects
    • Good understanding of network layer security, PKI concepts, and cryptographic technologies (e.g. hashing, signing, encryption, TLS)
    • Experience of continuous integration experience using Azure DevOps
