End User Delivery Engineer
Bristol

This position is a Technical
role within the Computershare Global Planning & Delivery – Projects
Delivery team, working on a specific end user integration project.

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

 


You will
be working within the Programme IT Team and help build and deploy a standard
laptop build for a newly acquired company. The role will require working ‘hands-on’
with various teams to adapt and evolve the current SOE to be fit for purpose.

This
also includes reviewing, documenting and implementing policies and standards relating
to the Computershare platform environment and ensuring adherence to security
procedures.

You will
be responsible for participating within integration planning and decision-making
processes by providing technical assistance and knowledge as a subject matter
expert (e.g. Windows 10, Active Directory, Policies, Deployment tools) preparing
technical and project reports for Management is also an essential part of this
role.

Required Experience
  • Solid
    working knowledge of the following:
  • Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10
  • WDS, MDT and OSD deployment methods
  • Desktop application packaging and deployment
  • Microsoft System Center suite (in particular SCCM & SCOM)
  • Laptop hardware
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Microsoft DHCP, DNS
  • Anti Virus, Data protection, bitlocker encryption
  • Multi
    Language builds

Experience
with:

  • Remote site deployments
  • Desktop hardening / security
  • End user integrations
  • Developing
    and contributing to SOE’s
  • Working
    in a regulated environment (financial services/banking)
  • Working
    across AD Domains
Experience and Competencies
  • Networking and remote site connectivity (e.g. Switching,
    Routing, wireless, VPN)
  • VDI
    technologies
  • Creating, maintaining and following technical
    procedures and documentation
  • Working with Service Management aligned processes
    (Incident, Problem, Change and Release) preferably ITIL
  • Working in a large, complex technical environment
