Contract Description

Role: The role of the IT PMO Analyst is to follow the project governance processes, provide project support through project reports and root cause analysis audits, ensuring lessons learned are fed back into project improvements. The role also manages monthly IT cost transfers, supports management of Honda's European IT Governance and Compliance audit activities and provides administrative support to the IT organisation. Main Responsibilities: Programme and Project Reporting

  • Manage timely and accurate project data for monthly IT Committee meetings (consolidate project data and do required analysis for reporting)
  • Communicate with project teams and coordinate participation in the monthly management meetings
  • Maintain data in Honda's project management tool Budget events
  • Communicate with business and IS concerning project budget submissions
  • Follow up the status of management approval for project budget submissions.
  • Communicate with divisions to inform them of approved projects.
  • Submit project budgets into Honda's budgeting system.
  • Perform Ad-hoc analysis and reporting activities to support presentations to Honda Motor Europe's top management.
  • Perform project cost model analysis and reporting activities
  • Process monthly IT cost charges including validating the charges. Administrative tasks
  • Manage invoicing and purchase orders utilising Honda's purchase order management systems
  • Liaise with our Legal team concerning contracts and ensure that all contracts are maintained in our Contracts Management System.
  • Support creating new suppliers
  • Support Honda Global IT security audit activities
  • Provide administrative support to the wider ISD organisation. KPI's
  • Accuracy of budget submissions.
  • Timely and accurate reporting
  • Speed and accuracy of all purchasing and contract processes.
  • Strength of relationships with Business Admin department and other departments within ISD Qualifications, skills and experience required/desirable:
  • Previous experience working in a PMO team
  • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence in both the business and IT communities
  • Familiarity with IT project management processes and terminology
  • Strong analytical skills and highly numerate with strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate to both business and IT audiences
