Job Purpose

Responsible for the successful delivery of one or more projects to drive forward the successful delivery of the EMEA AvisBudget Group strategy and related business plan, in conjunction with the global IT strategy.

IT PM contractor to deliver an urgent compliance project related to EU Payments Directives…essentially secure payments across all channels and all brands.


Key Accountabilities                                                                          

Successful planning and delivery of projects with a majority concentration on IT, on time, to budget, to quality standards.

Responsible for detailed project planning and related governance with regard to SOX, PCI, PII and SDLC.

Assignment of tasks to team members/reconciliation of resource usage to project requirements.

Ensure effective change control.

Documentation of actions/risks/decisions/issues and dependencies. Agree project mitigation.

Flag issues and risk for escalation.

Preparation of input for capital budgeting process documentation, BRD’s, PDD’s.

Responsible to ensure project adherence to internal IT processes and procedures.

Effective communication with the resource managers to ensure resource availability and coverage.

Completion of reporting requirements/project updates as requested.

Ensure management of entry and exit criteria.

Manage interdependencies between projects.

Ensure effective Quality Assurance is in place.

Ensure knowledge of the IT environment and related interdependencies between areas such as architecture/reporting/infrastructure/support services (however not requiring to be an SME) and the impact on the planning and delivery lifecycle.

Work with our colleagues and third parties on Statements of Work which drive related purchase orders.

Responsible for project stakeholder management both internal and external to IT.
