Key Essential Skills
- Strong Microsoft 365 configuration and administration experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 security and compliance settings.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and modern workplace technologies.
- Experience with PowerShell administration and automation.
- Understanding of Microsoft Copilot, AI tools, and LLM technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, support, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Desirable Skills:
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 or AZ-104.
- Experience with Power Platform and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Purview.
- Experience working within fast-paced or private equity-backed environments.
Role Overview:
The Microsoft 365 Configuration & Administration Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, governance, and support of Microsoft 365 services and cloud-based collaboration platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing Microsoft environments while supporting automation and AI-enabled productivity tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Manage Microsoft 365 user administration, permissions, policies, and licensing.
- Configure security, compliance, Conditional Access, and MFA policies.
- Manage endpoint security and device compliance through Microsoft Intune.
- Support Microsoft 365 migrations, deployments, and optimisation projects.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 platform and cloud-related issues.
- Support automation and productivity initiatives using Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot technologies.
- Assist with AI and LLM-based solution adoption and integration.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
