Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Java Software Engineer specializing in Investment Banking. The role is based in London and follows a hybrid work model, with a combination of on-site and remote work. The primary responsibilities include software development, designing and implementing microservices, working with Java programming, and utilizing the Spring Framework. Commercial experience using ClickHouse, Solace, Kafka and SQL is required. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet complex business requirements and support evolving financial industry needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Software Development and Programming, particularly with Java
• Expertise in designing and implementing Microservices
• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework
• Ability to collaborate effectively in hybrid work environments and contribute to cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in the financial services or investment banking industry is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
