Job Overview
We are currently seeking a .NET Developer for a contractor role based in our UK office. The .NET Developer will be designing, developing, and testing software applications. Additionally, they will maintain existing codebases, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
P92 has been appointed as an External Software Development Partner. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with expertise in modern .Net stack, and possess a systems-thinking approach to understand the entire process comprehensively. The ideal candidate will be an experienced .Net contractor that is able to switch context quickly and hit the ground running.

Education
BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related subject or equivalent experience
Experiences
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Software Developer working on platforms
- Of which is at least 2 years' experience in .NET development
Knowledge/Skills
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns
- Experience with API development and integration
- Experience with database management systems, SQL Server
- Understanding of cloud services like Azure or AWS is a plus

Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, code, test, and debug software applications using .NET technologies.
- Team Contribution: Contribute to all phases of the life-cycle, including any scrum/agile ceremonies, and add value to the team.
- API Development: Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with the wider team, clients and project stakeholders to gather and analyse software requirements.
- Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing software platform(s) as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure software applications' high quality, performance, and reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for any software development work carried out on the platform. Also, support the Product team in breaking down technical user stories.
- Methodology: Follow agile software development principles & scrum ceremonies but adapt as required.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and carry out any bug fixing.
