The Opportunity

Ten10 is seeking a high-calibre Test Lead to spearhead quality engineering for a major client integration project. This is a pivotal role for a leader who can balance deep technical device-testing expertise with the strategic oversight needed to manage resources, finances, and complex delivery methodologies.

As a Test Lead, you won't just be overseeing execution; you will be the driving force behind the transformation from Waterfall to Agile, ensuring that quality is baked into the cloud-native architecture from day one.

Key Strategic & Technical Pillars

1. Advanced Device & Mobile Strategy

You will define and lead the approach for mobile automation and hardware-software synergy.

• Automation Leadership: Expert oversight of Appium and BrowserStack frameworks.

• Non-Functional Integrity: Ownership of PVT, failure testing, and OAT to ensure enterprise-grade resilience.

2. Technical Governance & Cloud

• Ecosystem: Navigate and govern testing within Azure DevOps and Azure Microservices.

• Quality Engineering: Provide high-level reviews for .NET/C# frameworks and BDD implementations.

• API Mastery: Lead API testing strategies using tools like ReadyAPI.

• Risk Management: Manage complex branching and merging strategies, identifying architectural gaps and project risks before they impact delivery.

3. Delivery Leadership & Commercials

• Methodology Transformation: Proven experience leading teams through the cultural and technical shift from Waterfall to Agile (Scrum/Kanban/TDD).

• Project Management: Full-lifecycle management including estimating, resource coordination, and financial/budgetary oversight.

• Mentorship: A dedicated mentor capable of elevating the technical standards of the wider QA team.

Experience & Requirements

• Seniority: Minimum 7 years in testing with at least 3 years specifically leading large-scale integration projects.

• Tooling: Power user of Jira and Confluence for reporting and collaboration. Prior experience working on physical device testing projects and using tools such as Appium.

• Mindset: Highly commercially aware with the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
