Enterprise Solution Architect - Banking

Role overview:
An Enterprise Solution Architect, with a strong focus on core banking and SaaS integration-led architecture.
The role will operate within a complex enterprise environment and will be aligned to a large programme of work, acting as the single point of architectural accountability across multiple workstreams. The architect leads solution design across core banking, digital channels, and third-party SaaS platforms, ensuring interoperability, performance, and regulatory alignment. They collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors to deliver transformation programs that balance innovation with operational stability.

Core skills and experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Strong end-to-end Solution Architecture capability, with a clear integration bias (demonstrable experience of different integration patterns)
An appreciation for Engineering but this is not a hands-on Engineering role - this is a solution focused role
Proven experience integrating across a broad technology landscape, including:
o Core banking platforms (Temenos)
o Digital platforms (eg Backbase)
o KYC/AML/regulatory systems/Financial (Oracle Finance)
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, translating requirements into pragmatic architectural outcomes
Experience working in an agile delivery model within a large enterprise environment
Familiarity with large-scale transformation programmes, often operating as the architectural point of contact for delivery, vendors, and stakeholders

Support scalability, resiliency, and performance planning
Maintain architecture documentation and standards
