Konvergent is supporting a construction-sector client in setting up a business architecture function, with an immediate need for business processes. The team has been tasked with documenting and standardising processes across multiple business functions, but currently lacks the frameworks, methodologies, and foundational structure to do this effectively. There's a clear need for someone who can establish best practice process architecture from the ground up.

£500 - £550 per day
London/Hybrid - 2/3 days a week

We are looking for someone who has experience establishing process documentation frameworks in complex, multi-functional organisations.
Overview
- Establish process documentation standards, templates, and taxonomy appropriate for the construction industry
- Define a process architecture framework covering process hierarchy, ownership model, and governance
- Work across multiple business functions (operations, commercial, finance, procurement, project delivery, etc.)
- Facilitate process discovery workshops with business stakeholders
- Document current state ("as-is") processes across priority business areas
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Create clear, usable process documentation that teams will actually reference
Your Experience
- Ability to work quickly and not get overly focused on being 100% correct
- Understanding of overall enterprise business architecture principles, capability models, value streams, and business motivational models
- Practical knowledge of process mapping tools and methodologies (BPMN, Visio, etc.)
- Experience of construction industry high desired
