About The Role
Eversheds Sutherland are seeking two SharePoint Migration Assistants, on a contract basis, to join our existing Project delivery team. You will work closely with a project team to support the conversion of SharePoint pages from Classic to Modern.
Key Responsibilities
- Rebuild legacy SharePoint classic pages as modern pages within SharePoint Online, ensuring accuracy of content and consistency of presentation
- Reformat and migrate page content, including text, images and hyperlinks, in line with modern SharePoint design standards and firm branding requirements
- Apply agreed metadata and taxonomy structures in accordance with migration guidelines to support effective search, knowledge management and compliance
- Undertake thorough quality assurance checks on migrated pages, confirming the functionality of links, embedded documents and web parts
- Work closely with the Knowledge Systems team to adhere to established migration processes, escalating issues promptly where required
- Maintain clear documentation of progress and highlight any discrepancies or risks identified during the migration to support timely resolution
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel and Teams, to support effective collaboration and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to follow defined processes and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy in content transfer and formatting
- Effective communication skills, enabling clear clarification of requirements and timely escalation of issues to the project team
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently and to deadline
Desirable
- Working knowledge of SharePoint or a comparable content or site management platform
- Understanding of metadata and taxonomy principles and their application in content management
- Experience of content migration, data entry or similar projects requiring a high level of accuracy and consistency
- Experience of working within a legal or professional services environment
