We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure Architect to join our existing experienced team.

We are powered by brilliant people. As a Infrastructure Architect you will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the following: 

Role Responsibilities

• Technical architecture of the hosting infrastructure necessary for supporting physical and virtual machines, virtual app/desktop infrastructure hosting a range of collaboration/VOIP/messaging apps
• Specification of small/medium footprint hosting infrastructure to accommodate hundreds of end-users who are accessing applications presented using virtual desktop and/or virtual applications hosted on this infrastructure.
• Experience of private/hybrid cloud architecture, VMware and/or Microsoft virtualisation and public cloud Azure, taking a lead from our existing proven designs while being able to propose and articulate clearly any necessary changes required specific to the project/solutions’ requirements.
• Work closely with the P3M personnel and Technical Leads to ensure coherent architect\ure work is completed on an Agile cadence.
• Accommodate regular discussions, and request for change in documentation and specifications due to the nature of number of nations, mission partners and other MOD stakeholders.
• Articulate the infrastructure architecture, key aspects and design decisions etc, to a range of audiences.
• Produce high and low level Infrastructure design documentation and architectural diagrams.
