Technical Delivery Manager at Xolvio, United Kingdom, £Contract Rate (Outside IR35)

We’re looking for a UK-based Technical Delivery Manager (Outside IR35, B2B) to help guide and coordinate complex consulting projects across distributed teams. In this role, you’ll collaborate with both European and US clients, bringing together delivery leadership, client partnership, and technical understanding to ensure projects stay aligned, predictable, and successful.

This is a remote-first role within a highly collaborative international team. Because we operate across Europe and the US, we keep a small daily overlap window for joint collaboration, typically until 2 PM US Eastern Time, with occasional flexibility when needed for key milestones.

Services to Be Provided

• Delivery Leadership: Provide delivery oversight and support across multiple teams, helping keep work aligned with agreed scope and timelines.
• Client Collaboration: Act as a technical point of contact between clients and delivery teams to maintain alignment on scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Planning & Prioritization: Contribute to defining objectives, milestones, and delivery timelines in partnership with technical and product leads.
• Risk & Quality Management: Identify risks early, recommend mitigation approaches, and support adherence to Xolvio’s quality standards.
• Process Enablement: Support delivery processes, contribute to ceremonies when required, and help teams maintain efficient workflows
• Technical Insight: Translate technical concepts into clear plans and communicate progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Agency-Style Delivery: Must be comfortable with context switching and managing multiple client engagements.

Required Experience

• Proven experience providing delivery support in roles such as Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Program Lead within the software industry.
• Solid technical understanding of modern web and cloud stacks (e.g., TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working with distributed engineering teams and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent English language skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex topics in the software domain.

Valuable Experience

• A background as a software system architect or software developer.
• Experience working in environments with high levels of software quality and delivery automation.
• Direct experience working with event-sourced systems.
• Experience building software with TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL, KurrentDB, and CDK.
• Domain knowledge in the US healthcare system, software developer tools, and/or quantum computation.
• German language skills.
