Programme Manager – Insurance Consulting (Pricing Tools)
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our consulting business, working with leading insurance clients on strategic transformation projects. This role will lead a high-profile programme to support the full end-to-end process of selecting a pricing tool for underwriting – from RFI through to RFP and vendor selection.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Programme Leadership – Own the delivery of the full procurement process for a pricing tool, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
- RFI Stage – Coordinate requirements gathering, develop RFI documentation, and manage responses to shortlist potential vendors.
- RFP Stage – Lead the creation of detailed RFP documents, define evaluation criteria, and manage vendor engagement throughout the process.
- Vendor Assessment & Selection – Facilitate scoring workshops, organise demos and proof-of-concept sessions, and ensure robust governance for decision-making.
- Senior Leadership Engagement – Work closely with executive stakeholders to secure buy-in, provide clear updates, and support informed decision-making at every stage of the RFP process.
- Governance & Reporting – Maintain programme governance, produce clear status reports, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager in consulting or large-scale transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry operations and underwriting processes.
- Hands-on experience managing RFI/RFP processes and vendor selection for technology solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills at senior levels.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight timelines.
