Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Designer to build our new website from scratch and support ongoing maintenance.
You will also be responsible for setting up our business on Google, helping promote and monitor Google reviews, and supporting digital marketing activities.

This role is ideal for someone wanting to grow their portfolio while working with a friendly small business.
A passion for pets is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a new website from the ground up
• Maintain and update the site regularly
• Create/optimise our Google Business Profile
• Monitor, encourage, and promote Google reviews
• Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns
• Create digital performance reports
• Conduct SEO optimisation to increase visibility
• Suggest improvements to enhance traffic & user experience

Requirements

• Experience designing websites (portfolio required)
• Experience with web tools (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.)
• SEO experience — ability to optimise pages and improve rankings
• Knowledge of Google Ads & campaign reporting is essential
• Comfortable managing Google Business Profile
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Passion for pets is beneficial but not essential

Hours & Contract

• Minimum 4 hours per week
