We are looking for a Technical Analyst on a contract basis (Warwick , Hybrid) to lead the translation of Security and Resilience requirements into tangible project deliverables and outcomes. Once formalised, you will work with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and operational stakeholders to plan and deliver the required improvements.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Having 7–8 years of relevant experience in IT or OT environments, ideally within secure, high-availability, or regulated sectors such as defence, utilities, or critical infrastructure.
- Analyse IT Security control gaps and risks across systems and infrastructure, collaborating with subject matter experts and suppliers to formalise improvements to hardware, software, and operational policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
- Develop, update, and maintain high-quality technical and operational documentation, including system specifications, network topology and data flow diagrams, process maps, work instructions, and operational guides to support consistent and secure operations.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of technical and operational improvements, ensuring adherence to formal change management and governance processes.
- Work proactively with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure that security and resilience improvements are clearly defined, technically sound, and effectively executed within project timelines.
- Possess a strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including firewalls, switches, routing, segmentation, and key communication protocols.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical challenges and provide practical, risk-based solutions.
- Proven experience in creating, managing, and maintaining detailed documentation that supports operational continuity and audit readiness.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
