About the Role

We’re seeking a highly capable Project Support Officer (PSO) to join a dynamic delivery team supporting a major programme focused on the design and construction of a secure facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and can bring structure and clarity to evolving programmes of work.

The successful candidate will demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset - essential qualities for navigating a delivery landscape that is ambitious and occasionally fluid in nature.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive project support across planning, governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain and manage project documentation, RAID logs, and delivery trackers.
• Support programme reviews, milestone tracking, and performance reporting.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery momentum.
• Act as deputy to the Project Manager when required, contributing to leadership and decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and project controls.

Essential Requirements

• Active UK DV clearance (or very recently held).
• Proven experience in project support or coordination roles, ideally within defence, government, or secure environments.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
• Ability to operate independently and effectively in high-tempo, secure settings.

Desirable Experience

• Background supporting MOD or defence-related programmes.
• Understanding of defence delivery frameworks and secure facility programmes.
