What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Javascript, C#, C/C++, HTML, CSS
  • Passion for Education and prior teaching experience: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and motivating young learners in the field of technology and coding.
  • Adaptability: Ability to tailor teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities among students.
  • Creativity: Strong skills in developing engaging lesson plans and activities that inspire students and foster a love for coding.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with various coding platforms and tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies as they emerge.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and relatable way.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other educators and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Effective strategies for managing classroom dynamics and ensuring a positive and productive atmosphere (both online and in-person).
  • Commitment to Professional Development: Openness to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in IT.
  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding of diverse backgrounds and the ability to engage with students from various cultural contexts.
  • Project-Based Learning: Experience in implementing project-based learning approaches to encourage problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
