Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong public sector experience to join a multidisciplinary team delivering next-generation digital and AI-powered solutions. You'll work alongside Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to build robust, scalable applications that integrate AI and automation into real-world user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end applications that integrate with machine learning and AI services.

• Build scalable, maintainable Back End services and RESTful APIs (eg FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, or Express).

• Create responsive and accessible Front End interfaces using React, Next.js, or Vue.js.

• Work closely with ML Engineers to operationalise AI models and integrate LLM and RAG-based frameworks (eg LangChain, LlamaIndex) into production-grade systems.

• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage fullstack and AI workloads securely.

• Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Collaborate with design, user research, and data science teams to deliver meaningful, user-centric products.

• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and agile delivery ceremonies.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer delivering complex digital services in the public sector.

• Strong expertise in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript across the full stack.

• Solid understanding of Back End frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Express, or NestJS).

• Frontend development experience using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.

• Exposure to AI/ML model integration via APIs or managed services (eg Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Services, Google Vertex AI).

• Familiarity with LLM and RAG architectures, or experience supporting AI-driven product development.

• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Strong understanding of security, data privacy, and accessibility in the public sector context.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Experience

• Working knowledge of agentic or orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI).

• Experience with MCP protocol or other AI interface standards.

• Familiarity with observability tools for AI and app monitoring (TruLens, Helicone, OpenTelemetry).

• Knowledge of AI safety, guardrail frameworks, or responsible AI principles.
