Drupal Developer - Front End at Lightflows, Guildford, £Contract Rate

Lightflows is on the lookout for an experienced Front End Drupal Developer to join our creative, technically minded team.

We design and build digital products that make a real impact - from large-scale websites to custom web applications. You’ll play a key role in turning our designs into pixel-perfect, high-performing Drupal experiences used by thousands every day.

What you’ll do:

• Craft and maintain front-end themes for Drupal 8–10 websites
• Build custom themes using Twig, PHP, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Translate Figma or design files into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts
• Maintain, patch, and evolve existing Drupal sites to keep them fast, secure, and stable
• Hunt down and fix front-end bugs before they cause trouble
• Work closely with our design and back-end teams to bring ideas beautifully to life
• Optimise for accessibility, performance, and UX best practice
• Contribute to improving our front-end processes, tools, and component libraries

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience in Drupal theming and front-end development
• A solid grasp of Twig, PHP, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience working with Drupal 8, 9, and 10
• An eye for design accuracy and the craft of good front-end work
• Confidence in maintaining and improving live Drupal sites
• A collaborative mindset - happy working across design, dev, and project teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with build tools (Webpack, etc)
• Familiarity with headless or decoupled Drupal setups
• A good understanding of UX and accessibility
