Senior Java Developer at Pixelcode Technologies Limited, London W6, to £500 per day

We are looking for Senior / Junior Java Developers to join on a contract basis (Inside IR35) . You will be working on designing, developing, and delivering scalable applications within a cloud-native environment for critical financial services platforms. This role offers exposure to cloud technologies, payment systems, and large-scale distributed applications.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Java 17 or later
• Strong background in the Spring ecosystem (Web, Data, JPA, Messaging)
• Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with RDBMS (Postgres / AWS Aurora)
• Exposure to Cucumber (BDD testing) and Gatling (performance testing)
• Skilled in containerization and deployments using Docker, Helm, and OpenShift (OCP)
• Familiarity with AWS fundamentals and cloud terminologies
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines with Git and Jenkins
• Knowledge of build tools (Gradle preferred, Maven acceptable)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Awareness of cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices
• Senior Developers: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
• Experience in financial disputes management or payment networks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
