Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Automation Engineer with a strong background in Itential, Python, or Java to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced network automation solutions. This is a contractual role ideal for a seasoned professional capable of driving automation initiatives to optimize network operations and ensure scalable, reliable network configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of network automation workflows using Itential platform.
- Utilize Python or Java to create robust automation scripts and tools for managing network flows and configurations.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and network issues efficiently.
- Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications thoroughly.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network automation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering and automation.
- Proven expertise with Itential platform and automation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java programming languages.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, architectures, and management tools.
- Experience designing scalable and automated network solutions in complex environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, DevNet, or relevant Java/Python certifications.
- Prior experience working on large-scale enterprise or service provider networks.
- Knowledge of API integrations and network orchestration tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Pay: £350.00-£450.00 per day
