Job Title: Freelance Shopify Website Developer for Fashion Startup

About the Project: We are a fashion startup looking to build a Shopify website from scratch. Our brand (Fashiella) is all about hair accessories, stylish, fashion and user-friendly fashion experiences, and we’re looking for a Shopify expert who not only knows the technical side but also understands the aesthetics of the fashion industry.
Who We’re Looking For:
A freelance Shopify website developer who can take complete ownership of building our e-commerce site—from concept to launch. You should be experienced in creating high-quality Shopify websites with a focus on:
- Clean design & fashion sense
- Strong UI/UX understanding
- Mobile responsiveness
- SEO optimization
- Fast loading times
- Smooth functionality & usability
- End-to-end Shopify setup
Requirements:
- Proven experience building Shopify websites from scratch
- Familiarity with free and efficient Shopify tools/apps
- Ability to customize themes and layouts
- Strong knowledge of CMS, branding, and website layout
- Integration with payment gateways and social media
- Implementation of security features (e.g., captcha, SSL)
- Blog setup and guidance on content structure
- Understanding of Google+ Author Verification (or updated Google tools)
- Prior experience in fashion/e-commerce is highly preferred
- Ability to test the website thoroughly before launch
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Deliverables:
- Fully functional Shopify website
- Mobile-responsive and SEO-optimized
- Integrated with payment systems and social platforms
- Clean, fashion-forward design and branding
- Full website testing and debugging before go-live
- Basic CMS training or documentation (optional but appreciated)
Compensation: As a startup, we are currently offering this as freelance/project-based work. However, we are open to long-term collaboration opportunities as the brand grows.
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
