Senior Platform Engineer at OpticoreIT, London Area, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Broadcast Media client to support on multiple projects to assist with the Multi Cloud backup deployment solution. You'll join our excelling team based in the London area, on a 6-month contract inside IR35, with scope to extend.

This is a hybrid position that requires travel to our clients' site in the West London area, 1 day a week.

What you'll be doing:

• Work on multiple Business aligned projects for the existing platform team
• Ability to work across multiple project streams
• Collaborate closely with other developers to help design, build, and optimise multi cloud BCP
• Collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders to tease out information and requirements
• Good communicator who can explain concepts to business stakeholders

What you'll bring:

• Experience with AWS
• Desirable experience with Azure and GCP
• CI/CD pipelines
• Github/PowerShell
