About Us

The Zensory is a wellbeing and productivity platform on a mission to help individuals and teams thrive at work. We use cutting-edge sensory tools backed by science to reduce stress, increase focus, and build sustainable habits. As we grow our platform, we’re looking for a data-focused technical analyst to help clean up and refine our current tracking systems and database.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hybrid Data Analyst / Tracking Engineer with strong technical skills to audit, clean up, and improve our data infrastructure. You’ll ensure our user data is accurate, usable, and traceable across the platform by identifying bugs in the tracking setup and suggesting or implementing fixes. This includes working with our frontend tracking (JavaScript/TypeScript), Firebase backend, and Mixpanel analytics — and potentially modifying our SCORM content scripts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate discrepancies between tracked events in Mixpanel and backend data in Firebase

  • Clean and align current and historical data to ensure consistency and accuracy

  • Audit our existing database and tracking architecture to identify weaknesses, misalignments or inefficiencies

  • Recommend and help shape an improved future data structure and tracking strategy

  • Identify and fix any bugs in backend code (JavaScript / TypeScript) affecting data integrity

  • Use tools such as SCORM Cloud to test updates (experience here is a bonus, not a requirement)

  • Communicate technical findings clearly to our non-technical team members

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a technical edge

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

  • Experience working with Firebase (Firestore, Functions, Auth, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience with Mixpanel or similar product analytics platforms

  • Strong data querying and debugging skills

  • Comfort with testing tools such as SCORM Cloud

  • Ability to work independently and communicate findings effectively

Desirable (Nice to Have)
  • Familiarity with SCORM content or learning platforms

  • Understanding of race conditions and async handling in frontend tracking

  • Prior experience in startups or small agile teams

Why Join Us?
  • Make a direct impact on the way people experience and benefit from our platform

  • Flexible remote work with a friendly, mission-led team

  • Opportunity to help shape a product that supports mental wellbeing at scale
