Job Summary
We are seeking a freelance WordPress web developer to support short-term client projects and help build our WordPress portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for a freelancer with strong CMS experience and a good eye for design and functionality. You will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs while ensuring an optimal user experience.

Duties

• Design and develop website layouts, user interfaces, and navigation structures using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to gather requirements and understand project goals.
• Design and develop custom WordPress websites using Elementor, custom themes, or page builders.
• Integrate plugins and ensure responsive performance across devices.
• Collaborate with the design and project management teams to meet client expectations.
• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments for improved user experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design , showcasing a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Strong understanding of information architecture principles and best practices in usability.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) for website management.
• Proven experience with WordPress (portfolio or links required).
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress best practices.
• Ability to work independently and deliver on time.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing designs that enhance user experience.

Contract Length:

Pay: £27,783.00-£30,166.00 per year
