Job Summary
A dance music record label are seeking a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team with a massive passion to dance music. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with WordPress, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining websites that provide an exceptional user experience. This role requires a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as familiarity with various tools and methodologies.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate design concepts into functional websites.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly and accessible across all devices.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance website functionality.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies for project management, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in WordPress development with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Familiarity with server management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UX principles to create user-friendly interfaces.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce platforms and plugins within the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Proficient in using project management tools to track progress and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes is preferred.
