We're seeking an experienced Data Engineering & Analytics Practice Lead on a contract(Hybrid - London) basis to drive cloud-based data solutions using AWS and Snowflake, lead technical strategy, respond to RFPs, and mentor teams, while ensuring successful delivery of scalable and secure analytics environments.
Skills:-
- 13-18 years of experience in Data & Analytics, including 10+ years with AWS data platforms (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, SageMaker, Quicksight, MLOps).
- Deep expertise in Snowflake (architecture, Snowpipe, data sharing, Polaris catalog, governance).
- Design and deliver scalable data architectures with focus on security, privacy, governance, and multi-tenancy.
- Lead solutioning efforts including technical architecture, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations.
- Hands-on experience with ETL, DWH, metadata, and security on AWS and Snowflake.
- Create technical proposals aligned with customer business and tech priorities.
- Present solutions to clients and lead defense during proposal evaluations.
- Guide and mentor competency teams; develop internal IP, frameworks, and accelerators.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Minimum 2 AWS certifications in data/analytics/AI (mandatory); SnowPro certification preferred.
- Additional knowledge in Python, DBT, Matillion, Terraform, Kubernetes, Streamlit, Data Mesh, Data Vault is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, Snowflake Cortex, and modern AI/ML services desirable.
- Collaborate with technology partners and internal/external stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently and reprioritize based on evolving requirements.
