Contract Description

Company Overview

DMCs is focused on ending loneliness by helping people create deep, meaningful connections in their life. There's approximately 1.8 Billion people facing loneliness some or all of the time around the world.

We're at a very early stage, so it's an exciting time to join. We have an engaged audience who are signed up for our Beta Launch.

Job Overview

Seeking an Experienced Mobile App Developer to help apply the finishing touches to a Beta version of a mobile app and get it launched for iPhone and Android. The initial expectation would be to get the app to a point that it's ready to launch and be available to make changes to the app based on feedback from users of the Beta.

This would be an initial part-time role working up to around 10 hours per week so would suit someone looking to use their development skills for a side project alongside a full-time role.

Looking longer term, depending on how the Beta Launch goes, there could be an opportunity to increase hours potentially to full-time working hours to be one of the first employees at DMCs!

You would be working directly alongside the Founder of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Implement an intuitive user experience from initial sign up, to getting started with using the app, continuously returning to the app and providing feedback for the app.
  • Accountable for the design of the app, the infrastructure, code base and foundational principles of the app so that it can efficiently scale as users are onboarded.
  • Make the app available in the App Store and Google Play and get everything ready and in place for the Beta Launch.

Skills

  • The current app is built in Flutter, using Firebase Authentication and Open ai so any experience with all of those would be required.
  • Experience building and launching mobile apps in the App Store/Google Play.

Interview Process

  • Submit your CV with examples of mobile apps that you have developed.
  • Walk through the mobile apps that you have developed highlighting the skills and responsibilities as above/or similar.
  • Decision/Offer.

If successful, we'll start by going through the app in its current state and sizing up the time and effort required to get it launched. We'll do the same post-launch once we have feedback.
