Job Description:
We’re building Melify, a next-gen music discovery and lyric interpretation app that blends AI with clean UX. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled React Native developer to help bring our MVP to life.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the founder to develop features from design to deployment
Integrate APIs like ACRCloud, Genius, OpenAI (GPT-4) etc.
Build clean UI with performance-optimized code using Expo
Implement local and cloud data management (SQLite + Firebase)
Create progressive GPT analysis (streaming text output)
Ensure smooth navigation, skeleton loaders, error handling
Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience with React Native and Expo
Familiarity with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Analytics) and SQLite
Experience working with 3rd-party APIs
Understanding of async operations, streaming, and state management (e.g., Redux or Context API)
Git and GitHub collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
Interest in music or lyrical storytelling
Experience with AI tools (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
Good design sense and attention to UI detail
